Would someone ever write a song about treadmills…?

gymladyWell yes, actually somebody already has. Do you know Oingo Boingo...? no, not the name of the song – that’s the name of the artist who wrote and sang it! so yes, somebody did write a song about Treadmills so one obviously made an impression on him at some stage – many romances do start in the gym…

We have still to restart our fanatical fitness regime since arriving back from our two months in France; before the end of June we were going and working out every day of the week and seeing some great results but funnily enough we seemed to lose more weight when we were over working in France. The heat and the hard physical labour was instrumental there for sure. We are looking around for a new gym to join up with and we always take a good look at the equipment…basically to see if we can actually use it without looking like total incompetents. And that is easy to do! Arnold has an ancient exercise bike sitting in a corner of the house that neither one of us feel inspired to use so we thought of getting rid of it and buying a couple of Treadmills in it’s place.  I like the idea of doing a workout in the sitting room in between gym visits with my stereo playing full blast – those tiny portable ear pieces never stay in my ear and at the gym you need one.

Now that I am getting back to work we wont have time to go to the gym every day – as much as we’d both like to – so a little at-home-gym is looking a real alternative for us right now.
