When your daily deal here is driving around seeing images and murals of the legendary local boy George Best, and when you live in the same area where he kicked a ball around after school and on the weekends, what other sport could you possibly consider…? it has to be football. So my wee boys now attend a football camp each Saturday afternoon – John scored three goals last week – and they love it, they have taken to it like ducks to water.

Actually that is my next intention, to get them into swimming classes – being Australian I feel it is my duty to ensure that they become familiar with an important part of their mother’s own culture…swimming. But the football is a fantastic thing for them, my other sons were into rugby league so this is new for me and I love it. Glentoran here they come!
