So here’s to you Mrs Robinson – it’s called karma.

Iris-RobinsonThere’s nothing like seeing a lofty, holier-than-thou bible thumper like MLA Iris Robinson come crashing down to earth as the First Minister’s wife has done this week. You have to feel a little sorry for Peter Robinson; learning that your 59 year old spouse has had it off with a 19 year old male in a short-term affair which also saw her financing his ambitions to open a local restaurant. Did the First Minister know about this…? why did she not declare her ‘interests’ to the Assembly at the time…? too busy ‘comforting’ her toyboy lover no doubt to worry about trifling things like that…

As she and her husband undergo investigation into their financial dealings the Province is being scandalously rocked by her tawdry little affair with a teenager, nobody would care normally had this woman not earned herself a name for being notoriously anti-gay and frequently quoting the bible in condemning all those guilty of committing abominations of sin…all those other than herself that is. Stupid and ignorant behaviour for a person who no doubt upset many in her own constituency when she made those shameful comments. How are the shoes fitting now Iris dear…?

Here’s another ‘abomination’ you might care to read about in your bible Mrs Robinson – ‘adultery’ – and I hear it carries harsh penalties depending on where in the world you live…but a little bit of karma never hurt anyone and you sure have a mouthful of it to chew on right now!

It’s an amazing story, isn’t it? So many provocative elements, coming from a volatile country.
