Nicole Ritchie has at last given birth to her baby, a little girl. I love the name they have given her, Harlow Winter Kate Madden – has such a lovely ‘ring’ to it and it is nice that for once a celebrity has not named her child after a piece of fruit or a celestial being.
I hope that having this child brings Nicole down to earth and provides the motivation and incentive for her to finally start taking proper care of herself. Her health: it was lovely to see her over the past months with a nice ‘full’ face, rounded cheeks and flesh on her bones. The earlier images of her that are so familiar – thin, way too thin, with bones protruding from her rib cage and cheekbones you could hang a hat on.
The wild party life-style – this will have to be toned down considerably, babies have needs that absolutely must come first and if there is one motivation in life to change your ways it is having a baby that is dependant on you. For everything.
Congratulations Nicole on the best thing that could ever happen to you.
