My son will be escorting his girlfriend to her Prom dinner dance next March and we have been looking around for a nice outfit for him to wear. It’s easy looking for something for the boys to wear – how wrong can you get it when all you need is a good suit…? but his girlfriend is having a tough time finding the right dress, and of course she wants to keep it a secret until the night.

If was looking to make a mint I’d get going and open a shop right now selling only prom dresses 2012 that were designed by young girls of today. They don’t go for those frothy, frilly creations that our mothers wore – these days the look is sleek and chic. I’d get some ideas from the teenagers and have someone run up the dresses and market them – I reckon it would be a seller!
