I recall the outcry from certain parents groups last year when it was revealed that a British company was planning to design mobile phones especially for under-fives. A Dublin-based firm has beaten them to it and has marketed mobile handsets for children as young as four.
And they are selling very nicely too thankyou…
This is crazy – what next…Patek Philippe watches to wear to nursery school and baby Jimmy Choo’s !
Just for the record I don’t own a mobile and I won’t be owning one in the near future – I find them to be anti-social in the extreme. All we need next are toddlers bawling down the phone to their parents or learning to text before they can even write with a pencil. And then there is the small issue of RF being directed into their tiny ears…
Let kids be kids and parents learn how to say NO!
