I was reading just yesterday in one of the newspapers how uninformed many people are about basic first-aid; a survey was taken of parents at a nursery school and it was quite shocking how the results showed how many of those parents do not know how to react or respond in an emergency situation involving their own child. This is frightening information.

What about the rest of us…how effective would you be in a situation, for example, that involved a sudden Cardiac Arrest ? arming yourself with the basics of CPR are simple skills which can mean life or death to someone you know and love. You may never need them, then again, emergencies happen in the blink of an eye – and you could make all the difference to someone’s life. Be prepared to make a difference and get informed.
