I have never paid much attention to Liv Tyler as an actress; she stars in movies that generally aren’t to my taste but when it comes to being a busybody I would give her a medal!

Normally you don’t stick your nose into other people’s business especially when out in public. If a couple were having a barny you would ignore them and go your own way – but if a baby was involved how would you react…?

Would you interfere if you saw an adult screaming incessantly at a baby or young child? I most certainly would – I have done in fact – and to her credit so did Livvie. She saw that old woman screaming at a crying young child in the pram and thought the woman was overdoing things, so she went over to check on the child and give the old bag a few words of her own.

It is believed the old woman was the kids grandmother but looking at the numbers of older women having IVF these days you never know – she could have been the mummy…

Nevertheless Liv is one of those people, like me, who prefer to act rather than just talk. That woman could have been trying to calm a tantrum down – on the other hand things could have been more sinister – if she screams like that in public what is she like in private?

Good on Liv for doing something and being concerned about the child anyway – too many kids are suffering abuse these days and people do nothing. Baby Peter Connolly was surrounded by such people – people who did not want to ‘interfere’. If you think a child is in trouble then DON’T mind your own business!
