‘Law’ and ‘Justice’-the difference is?

It seems the law in the UK is fast becoming a complete joke. Recently a 14 year old male shot a young girl in the eye with an air rifle causing her severe injury, naturally, and has been let off scot free. Why?. The ‘law’ has deemed him ‘too young’ to understand the consquences of his actions. Prosecutors have successfully argued that this young criminal had no idea at all what he was doing…he had no idea that if you point a gun at someone and pull the trigger it goes ‘bang’…no idea what a bullet can do to a human body. Yeah right. He was just playing with it…he thought it was a water pistol didn’t he?.
What an absolute joke that to say that he had no idea of the consequences. These kids are raised on violence and the gun culture; they know perfectly well what happens when you shoot someone. What is this argument that a 14 year old cannot know the consquence of his actions?. Especially when at 14 many kids are not kids anymore…they are out having babies and pulling knives on each other.
I have a solution to all of this, lets start showing them the consequences of their actions. Take those teenage joyriders to the hospital to view the comatose body of the kids they ran down on his bike; let them see that kids griefstricken family, take the gang of hoons who knifed a young father to death for his small change to see his wife identify his body while numb with shock and grief. Make them sit in the morgue with their victim to get a real idea of what the consequences are for their victims.
Too hard on them eh?. Not at all. Take off the kid gloves and get tough with them, because we the public have had enough.
