I am one very proud Mum at the moment; my son has popped the question to his lovely girlfriend and she accepted…with a lot of tears and emotion. Patrick is my first-born and as a mum you only ever want to see your kids happy and loved – which he is in abundance.
They were made for each other, these two, and my son proposed in the most romantic manner; with flowers, over dinner and wine, and down on one knee with the ring in his hand. What more could a girl want…? the other diners were entranced and they even scored a free glass of wine each from the restaurant staff.
Who says romance is dead…?
