Well, it does play a huge factor in attracting a date. The only guys who don’t have to worry I guess are those who have no hair at all - and yes - many women find that look attractive; look how successful Yul Brynner was with the ladies!
And how do we girls get out of a date ? we usually claim the ” I’m washing my hair tonight ” excuse - I guess the guys have all heard that one too but…sometimes you need a night in with a bottle of Extreme Style by VO5.
But as for the dating game in general the pick up line still remains the way for people to make that initial approach to someone - and personally I have heard some real clangers - but the prize for the worst line was from the guy with the mullet who said…
” Hey gorgeous, you’re the girl my mother always warned me about - want to show me why? ”
Yep, truly baaaaaddd…he was no way in the running and nor would he ever win the prize for Victory Hair with that mullet!
Come on guys - lift your game and try the Ultimate Flirting Championship and come up with something more original if you want to get anywhere.

It seems as though the world is full of fashionistas today; from Madonna, to Lindsay Lohan to Paris Hilton. But my own favourite style icon would have to Audrey Hepburn. Now I know she is from another era but the look she created never has, and never will, ever go out of fashion.
It wasn’t just that Audrey was so sylph-like; she was just so right in everything that she wore. Her frame, her facial bone structure, her poise - she was born to be dressed by the top designers and it was so correct that Givenchy made her his own muse during the 1950’s.
My favourite special Audrey moments?…her elfin haircut in the film Roman Holiday; those sumptuous cocktail gowns she wore in Sabrina, she even made a nuns habit look great in The Nuns Story. I have yet to see any female since who could wear clothes the way Audrey did - no-one has since reproduced that look of cool, effortless chic.
My own style?…heck, I could never look like her - I don’t have her tiny waist for a start - I am the hourglass type - but my own style tends to be split into two - domestic and dining. I go for pencil skirts, love white blouses and heeled shoes as they show off the female form really well. At night for a special occasion I like simplicity - black dress, stappy and tight. I don’t like layers of clothes and if I can get away without shoes I will.
