It has taken a long time but finally we all get to know for how long that vile female and her two male accomplices will be removed from society. I think it is safe to say that for all of us no amount of time behind bars will be enough punishment for these three. The sentencing hearing began today and will finish tomorrow. With this news we are being told how two of the adults involved in this sick drama are using ‘tears’ to try and absolve themselves of any guilt or responsibility. Namely the mother and Peter’s biological father.
The mother ‘has written’ a letter to Judge Kramer saying ‘sorry’ for the disgusting manner in which she allowed her baby boy to be treated and killed. I say “tell it to someone who care’s lady!” – firstly I do not for one moment believe she is sorry for anyone except her pathetic self, and secondly I do not believe that someone so feckless could be so articulate as to be able to put three words together. She did not write that letter, one of those taxpayer funded social workers who look after her ilk did that for her. She states that she has been robbed of her son; it was he who was robbed you replusive woman – robbed of his life!

That child was going to have a tough time growing up into anything given the filthy, stinking environment she gave him to live in. Even without the violence inflicted upon him he was forced to exist in a world of dirt, hunger and indescribable fear. She is sorry now – too late woman, her sorry’s are made in the hope they will buy her leniency – they certainly will never buy her sympathy.
Lastly, the other adult in Peter’s life who more than anyone could have saved the child – his own daddy. This man was the last capable person to see Peter – just a week before he died. He noticed the child’s terrified reaction when handing him back to his mother after a visit…and did nothing. Peter would certainly have had injuries, or the remains of past injuries, on his body at that time. Once again nobody noticed and nobody did anything. He claims when he saw the baby’s body in the morgue he wanted to ‘pick him up and take him home’…what a tragedy, and a crime in itself, that he never felt the same urge to do that when the child was screaming and clinging to him in terror that final time. How out of touch are these people?
I would not like to be Judge Kramer over this next 24 hours, I am sure he has heard enough horrific details to make him feel as though he has seen the worst examples of human nature possible.
Their legal teams are appealing for clemency and mercy; well, in deciding their sentences I only trust he will show those three the same degree of clemency and mercy that they showed to that little boy during the last months of his pain-filled life. That is the only yardstick by which they should be judged.

I did not think that women could possibly disgust me any more but she has managed it. As you say Wendy, the only person she has a shred of smypathy for is herself.If she really felt any remorse she would have come clean and told the courts exactly what happpened to Peter and who was responsible for finally murdering him .But, to the end she kept quiet even allowing another child to face an intimidating cross examination while she lied through her teeth.I hope Judge Kramer sees her pathetic “apology” for what its worth,absolutely nothing,she really is beneath contempt.
As for Peters father,I still really hope that he was taken in by her lies and guilty only of misjudging how much danger Peter was in ,simply because I cannot bear to think that in his short life Peter did not feel loved by anyone.

hiya, i am a foreignor father. I have been reading this story for long time, each and every time my heart was full of hate and pain for such a psychic mother and the man who both killed baby Peter. Today first time i was photo of the mother..I saw her eyes, I read her letters written in jail..with no emotions for baby P..and one question came to my mind..Is it possible a mother can see her baby dieing. Even an animal cant do this. then how it happened?? Its not only baby P’s mother..we all are responsible for this.We have no moral left to save our society…It started from same drug story..who destroyed so many families..It happened to her as well..after taking drugs from child hood she fianlly turned in to a devil..she has no sense or feelings left in her life..We are the people who is allowing drugs in our society who is spoiling thousands of families and lives every year..How these drugs are coming in our country?? Why police and judges are not strict on these drug dealers?? Isnt it our duty to stop these drugs to make more people devil?? In my country its a 1 month remand with so much pain and 20 years jail afterwards, no one is even thinking about dealing or taking drugs fear or cruelty of police remand and they are deserve for this..and here police is ignoring drugs addicted people and their suppliers..human rights are saving these drug dealers..judge are giving some months prison to them to do more crimes..and we all are just watching this whole things like cowards..Stop this misuse of human rights…who lost anything..politician, judges, or police?? or their families..Noo..its little baby like baby P..lost his life..and so many more lives are going to sacrifice..so many kids are living in custody of drug addict parents..either stop these drugs or rescue all these children from these drug addicted parents..dont write at here..do protest to make law more strict against drug dealers..give infomration to police without any fear about your local drug addicts or drug dealer if you knows any of them..and force the police and MP to arrest them..save our society..save our children..and do something in reality rather than just write at here. .. stop this irresponsible and drug addict mothers to kill more children …

Bravo – well said Pratik. If this woman is to be released from prison then she must be made to undergo mandatory sterilisation to stop her from ever having anymore children.
There’s more to the biological father than that. At one point at the end of a visit he had to hand Baby P back to his mom and refused to when he saw how upset the boy was at the idea. Charming mom called the police who forced him to hand over the screaming tot.
I got sent a video about little baby peter and I was horrified! I was in tears and I have thought of him ever since i’ve seen that. I decided to research his case and I too and disgusted with his mother and the boyfriend and anyone else who assisted. He was a little baby, a child, and innocent. He didn’t have a voice to speak for himself, like some abuse victims do. Poor little baby. Well, the only thing I hope is that those who harmed him either get the death penalty or life in prison.
Baby Peter, is in Heaven now getting all the love he DESERVES. He’s forever in my heart and i’ll never forget this horrible thing that has taken place..
Im from the US so I did not see the headlines as this unfolded, what makes me sick is how much will be done now that the boy is dead and now that all the torture has taken place and how powerless weve all become to intervene to do what we all know is right….it reminds me of the movie Gone baby Gone if any of you have seen it you know what Im talking about. The right thing to do was to kidnap that child and expose the abuse that was suffered at the hands of that horrible women and her no doubt sociopath boyfriend
I tell you Joe, if I knew of a child enduring what that baby did I would not hesitate to make every attempt to remove him from such an environment. The police could do whatever they wanted with me but I’d give it a bloody good try!

I dont know what to do, I feel so immensly saddened for little Peter, I have been crying for two days. I just look at his little face and cry. Why did this happen? All the doctors, social workers, his biological father, should all be held accountable too. What is more precious than a child who probably still loved his sick sadistic mother. I hope she gets everything she deserves in jail. as for the step-father Barker, I hope he rots in hell. and is haunted by what he did every second of every day. And yet we still do not learn.. Part of the sentencing should be the castration of the stepfather and the mom having a hysterectomy, so both are unable to reproduce again (at the expense of the family all must be punished) . They should also be on a registy that forbids they to adopt work with or even be near children ever.
You people dont learn do you.. you never will.. parents should be certifed before being allowed to become parents. They should have to renew their certification every year by passing a test and both having a psychological screening.. Children are a gift not a right… I was abused for years nobody rescued me… years in therapy.. lost relationships.. all this could of been prevented..

I would like to personally write the mother and the two men that were involved in this horrific abuse and murder. I am incredibly angry and upset that anyone would allow and be responsible for such horendous acts. I’m sure they get mail in prison. If anyone has details on the prison each person is at and an address it would be greatly helpful.
Tracey Connelly is currently serving time in Low Newton Prison, it is located in the village of Brasside near Durham in County Durham. Another notable female monster in that prison is Rosemary West. Steven Barker is a prisoner at Wakefield Prison in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. He has already been attacked several times in the past year by fellow inmates. At this stage I do not have any information as to where Jason Owen-Barker is being held.
This is a situation where the father would have every right (the hell with these agencies, the law) to take that kid and go underground. Talk about failure, FAILURE! The doctor, police and social services should be devastated with how they FAILED this child! Nothing illegal about the biological father taking that child away from this filth! I wish I can contact the killers’ inmates and tell them that I would pay each £1000 for EVERY bruise they cause to baby Peter killers while they’re in jail.
I just signed a death penalty request for the three of them but I don’t feel DEATH is enough. I wish they’ll have their fingers cut, their spines broken, starved till they eat dirt, punched so they’ll swallow their own teeth, and live paralyzed by fear forever and ever and ever.
Tracey Connelly has served her sentence to date in protective custody due to the price on her head, a prison worker claimed the inmate who ‘gets at’ Connelly will be held in high esteem by the other inmates so she is a marked woman. Stephen Barker has already been attacked twice by fellow inmates and is under careful watch by prison guards. The down shot of being in protective custody means that Connelly gets privileges that the other inmates do not get, she has her own private tv room, make have her meals served to her in her room if she so chooses, has her own CD and DVD library for entertainment, choice of games consoles and is doing a cookery course. She is also said to be in a ‘relationship’ with fellow sadist Rosemary West.
