The media will go crazy over this story. One of the killers of little James Bulger - Jon Venables (below right) - has been sent back to prison after breaching the terms of his release. Of course such is the high level of secrecy surrounding anything to do with these two monsters that it is highly unlikely that the exact details of what he has done to breach those terms will be revealed.

Let’s not forget why these two creatures enjoy such protection: they lured a little two year old boy away from his Mum one day in 1993, and battered him to death. They left his tiny broken body on a railway line so that a speeding train could wreak the final horrifying damage to what was left of him. For their trouble, and because they were minors themselves when they committed this act of sheer barbarism, they have been awarded lifelong anonymity. New identities, new lives – that’s their punishment for slaughtering an innocent baby.
Venables is now 27 years of age but of course he is no longer known as ‘Jon Venables’ – I think it is time the identities of these two cretins were revealed, just how fair is it for them to remain protected and shielded forever from being exposed for all the world to see as the cold blooded murderers they really are…? not fair in the slightest in my opinion. A world-wide injunction exists that bans the publication of any information that identifies their new names or their locations…oh my, how tempting defying such a ban would be…
How would I treat such information if it happened to be made available to me…? well, I believe that some laws were made to be broken and I also believe there is a way around most things. The courts acted in the best interests of Thompson and Venables – I believe the best interests of the public override anything that makes their lives any easier. I hope that there is a blogger out there who possibly is living on borrowed time and would be prepared to do a really noble thing before they left this world – I know I would do it in a second.
