Baby Peter’s killer, Stephen Barker, accuses animal rights group PETA of ruining his reputation…!

stephenbarkerThe words on this poster speak volumes. People who start out committing sadistic acts on helpless animals go on to do the same atrocities on human beings. This man, Stephen Barker, is the perfect poster boy for such a campaign – he is the man who participated in the torture and horrific death of baby Peter Connolly. His was the fist that slammed into the face of that poor little boy on the last night of his life, his were the hands that bent the little boy backwards over a sofa until his spine snapped…

And yet this depraved creature has used the legal process – OUR legal process – to object to his face and name being used on this poster. He has claimed that his reputation has been ‘ruined’.

Excuse me but am I MISSING something here…? his REPUTATION ! what bloody reputation are we talking about – this beast has a reputation for one thing only – child abuse !!!

His legal team – and yes he still has one that we taxpayers are funding – responded with this tripe:

Tim Bittlestone, of solicitors Leslie Franks, wrote to PETA: “Mr Barker was acquitted of murder. Your campaign poster is therefore libellous. Please remove it or we will institute proceedings against you”.

How nice to know that our legal profession are willing to stick their necks out so far as to use legal technicalities to further defend this evil monster. The poster is appropriate and speaks for itself. This creature is NOT simply a child abuser but a sadistic torturer and killer as well no matter what fancy terms Mr Bittlestone and Co wish to apply – facts are facts and here is the most blatant fact of all: Stephen Barker is a murderer and there is one dead baby to prove it.

A meaty issue – vegetarians look away…

bullAt this time of year we start to think about celebrations like Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Christmas and what sort of food we are going to serve up on the day – which could be a bit of a task if you like to celebrate all three – however now is the time to make a rough estimate of what you want to do.

My American readers might find this interesting; do you Buy Steaks at Christmas time or do you opt for the traditional turkey even though you’ve celebrated Thanksgiving a month prior…? in Australia the weather is hot so Christmas time for us means BBQ time! yeah, many of us do still stick to the traditional turkey and ham but we instead tend to cook them a day or two early and have them cold with salads and such. Good beef is readily available in Australia, the T-Bone cut being the best for the barbie, and likewise in the States you would counter with USDA prime steak…rib-eye being the most desired meat for tenderness and flavour. Pricey I admit but well worth the money for sure. Then you have your new fashion kobe beef whichis famed for its heavy marbelling of fat – this might seem wrong when you look at it but the marbelling actually tells you that the meat will be extra tender when cooked and the fat melts away. I used to be put off by the sight of such until I started cooking for people and got educated.

My family are planning serious bbq’s for Christmas Day this year – so long as there are no fire bans on the day – and steak figures heavily on the menus. Just shows how different our ways are around the world.
