I cannot believe that we only have a short time to go here in France until we have to pack up and return to Belfast again – the time has flown by so fast with the constant work we have been doing. Forget about the credit crunch…people are still taking their holidays with a vengeance and spending as well. We know that this will be the last time we will be coming to run the place again as the new owners will be taking over in October and even, though the prospect of cross country moving is appearing quite daunting, we are looking forward to finalising everything here.

It will bring an important era in our lives to an end – our stint as hoteliers will be over and, boy, could we write a book or two about the past six years! nevertheless we are planning on maybe downsizing the next business venture and are hoping to do our bit for the Northern Ireland tourism industry by way of running our own wee B&B in rural Northern Ireland. Having worked a 12 room hotel something with just two rooms will be a very welcome change and will certainly be a doddle for us.
