I don’t mind a bit of rain, or a fresh frosty morning – but this relentless, freezing cold weather that we are currently experiencing is just about driving me crazy.

The wind does not blow around you, it blows right through you. It makes your eyes ache, your head ache and your ears pound. Hanging the clothes out on the line – when the sun dares to shine – results in blue frozen hands.

At our place we have to put our jackets ON to ENTER the house! it is like living in the arctic – all we need are Polar watches and huskies and that would set the scene properly.

But just a few days to go and we leave it all behind.
