Do people still elope these days…?

I’m taking a break for a bit from the angst that has inhabited my posts of late…only for a short while though. One must maintain the rage at all costs…

Anyway, there’s talk of weddings in my family right now. My nephew and his fiancee have June 2009 planned for their nuptials and we have planned to fly out to Australia for the big event. I, secretly, would have like them to have done it the church-way but young couples these days tend to go for a more different and personalised experience.

And you have to be glad that they are getting married at all given the falling numbers of weddings in recent times. It’s the expense of course and this is why Ash and Lisa have postponed things three times already. I think it’s a shame – they aren’t after a big-do but when you count in venue, drinks and food just by themselves you are looking at several thousand before you even buy the dress!

I spoke to Ash the other day and told him to just elope – lot’s of people use to do it and they still do. I think eloping is kind of cool – rebellious even. I mean, it’s something that really is just for them, they don’t need to go into debt or spend their life savings to date just to put on a party for everyone else.

I know a girl who did just that six years ago; she booked a hotel in las vegas and away they went. They took four friends with them and had the time of their lives – and the family were elated for them when they returned. I don’t see it as deceitful at all – your wedding day should be with you in mind and if anyone disagrees with that then tell ‘em to shove it.

Baby Peter – the innocent face we should never forget

babyp3Here is the first picture released of little baby Peter – the little boy who would never grow up. Isn’t he just so beautiful, isn’t he adorable?

How in the name of god could his mother have allowed him to suffer and die the way he did? he looks alot like my youngest child and surely a nation will be crying tonight at the loss of such an angel.

Peter pictured several months before his death.

I would say this beautiful child is loved more in death than he ever was in life – and by people he never knew and would never know. How sad and tragic that he was not loved and cherished by his own mother.

Parents everywhere – when you hug your babes tonight before they go to sleep, give them one for little Peter as well. God knows he desperately needed one when he was alive and never got it.

It makes you weep.

How many more innocents must die…?

Apparently British PM Gordon Brown has ordered an ‘enquiry’ into the way Haringey Council Social Services mishandled and totally botched up the case of tragic little Peter Connolly – just like they mishandled the case of eight year old Victoria Climbie in 2000.

I have some words of advice for this most unpopular Labor PM – this useless mouthpiece for a political party which has actively encouraged the likes of Tracey Connolly, Karen Matthews and their ilk to continually provide such sickening fodder for the print media in recent years.

Stop paying these useless creatures to have these kids in the first place !

Stop paying millions of taxpayers Pounds a year to entire communities to do nothing more than procreate !!

Stop paying entire communities who house those like the Cromptons who have no intention to do anything other than produce more welfare-earning offspring !!!

Stop paying the lowlife, lazy and scum element of society to breed and do nothing else !!!!

Sack Haringey Council – the lot of them – NOW !!!!!

Tear down the council (sink) estates – take the babies off all of the underaged fag-smoking, lager-drinking  unmarrieds and give them to people who CARE – put the ‘Vicky Pollards’ we all know, see and despise into the military and be done with it !!!!!!

Sterilise all females like Karen Matthews and Baby Peter’s mother !!!!!!!

The British people are bloody angry. We are fed up with all these poor children being killed by the very people you bankroll.  Forget about ‘enquiries’, forget about your ‘votes’ from the scum welfare-element which Labor has depended on for too long…

Do something right for a change !
