Some things just defy description – as does this woman, Kelly Tollerton - who left her two year old son locked in the dirty kitchen of her boyfriend’s squat of a flat while she went partying for an entire weekend.  And it was ot the first time she had done this. The baby was heard crying which alerted neighbours who phoned police. They found the baby barricaded in a filthy flat unable to leave the kitchen due to one of those ‘baby gates’ placed across the kitchen doorway.

The child was filthy, cold and soaking wet as water was running and had flooded the kitchen – he was found standing in several inches of water. What if there had been a fire for gods sake !!

He had no food, no warm clothing and had been described by health visitors who had previously seen him as ‘neglected’. Women such as this female utterly disgust and infuriate me; she saw nothing wrong with what she had done – I wonder just how long it would have been until something tragic had happened to this child.

She has been sentenced to prison and it is highly unlikely she will get her child back when she gets out. This has got to be a case for compulsory sterilisation if ever there was one, she has already had one baby taken away from her due to her non-existent parenting skills. How about taking her to the vet and getting her spayed…?

One thing is sure though; as she is heading for a long spell in a female prison I would say her true punishment is yet to come…
