Blogger wins award!

It’s great to see a blogger get some real recognition for their work so it’s congratulations to Malin over at the shrine of Infektia !!

This cool gal received her award for being PPP’s Postie of the month for April and she deserves her award for writing great posts, straight-from-the-hip honesty and community awareness as she is heavily into animal rights issues.

We here give her a round of applause…

Good one sweetie !!

If there is a God he needs to set up house in the UK

I wonder if the parents of Robert Knox would agree with me on that. It would probably be difficult for them to believe in anything right now because they are mourning the death of their beautiful eighteen year old son – stabbed to death outside a nightclub in south east London in the early hours of Saturday morning May 24th.

Last week it was Jimmy Mizen, this week it is Robert…he is the 24th young person to be murdered in England since the start of this year. That equates to almost one teenager killed every week and that is exactly how things are going.

It is all becoming a sickening type of lottery; Jimmy, Robert…who next ? which mother and father will be grieving this time next week for their murdered son or daughter ?

The knife-alcohol culture is simply out of control; police in the UK are not permitted to stop and search due to human rights legislation – they are not permitted to confiscate knives from youths in case it aggravates them further.  Just what the hell is a police force for you have to ask !

Twenty four hour licensing means teenaged males and females lie drunk and vomiting in the streets way past their bedtime – most of them are underage. Drunken brawls are commonplace; you take your life in your hands just strolling past a group of intoxicated youths as has proved so tragically true for many of these victims this year.

If they want your mobile phone they stab you and take it. If you happen to catch the eye of a yob he will stab you for doing so. If you step in and protect a friend in a fight you end up dead. Just like Robert.  Just like Jimmy.

Where or when this will ever stop is as effective as asking when judgement day will arrive. No-one knows. The Govt and do-gooders have gone to so much trouble to protect the human rights of yobs and teens who choose to roam the streets terrorizing society that  the rights of law abiding citizens have been totally ignored – in fact law abiding citizens do not have any rights. All we have is a rapidly decaying British society and a Govt with no idea whatsoever of how to enforce law and order beyond that of a slap on a tattooed wrist. A British society decaying through atrocious parenting, single parent ‘homes’ where children are dragged through a pathetic welfare funded childhood where no decent male role model ever exists; where ‘home’ is a quagmire of alcohol, violence, ignorance and promiscuity.

If there is a God he had better do something and do it fast.

Training a man to buy a present

It was my birthday last week and I have to say that, after a few years of gentle guidance, my man is starting to really surprise me with the presents!

So far he has not presented me with anything too, well - badly selected, except the time he travelled to Paris on business for a couple of weeks and brought both me and his mother each a gift back. Which was great, except that he bought us both the same thing! somehow I think you buy your partner something a little different to what you buy your mother…

Anyway, last week he really splashed out and bought me a beautiful diamond bracelet which was something I had been dropping hints about for, oohh, five years…and a lovely arrangement of silk flowers. Now don’t think ” how romantic, fake flowers! ” these are exquisite and one thing I appreciate is that they will never wilt and die – which to me is a rather depressing aspect of receiving flowers from someone special.

These are something I will never need to throw out and they stand in liquid illusion which mean they look like they are in real water.  I love ‘em!
