Ever had one of those days?

I am having one today. One of those days where you just really cannot be bothered to do anything – even the things you know you have to do because no-one else will do them if you don’t.

But still, today I thought ‘what the heck’ . I haven’t done the washing and for lunch I just plonked a loaf of bread and cold sliced meat on the table for the masses to help themselves to. I think that is when they started wondering what on earth was going on…

Meanwhile I reclined on the sofa, at full stretch, with a large mug of strong tea and a plate of toasted sandwiches. I had my book beside me - the one I have been trying to start since before Xmas – and a pile of the DVD’s I had selected for my afternoon’s viewing.  The two youngest kids played out the back without coming in for regular drinks and snacks or toilet trips, my partner refilled my mug of tea and sat and rubbed my feet for me and the phone did not ring once.

My fourteen year old son did not ask me 103 times if I would share my bar of chocolate with him and also did not ask continually when my movie would be over so that he could hook up his XBox.  To finish off my afternoon my partner then brought me a nice early dinner on a tray that he had been secretly cooking for me.

Yes, you could say everything went wonderfully, just like a dream…which is exactly what it was. You don’t think my man can really boil a kettle do you…?

Diet pills – it pays to do your homework

It certainly does. Like many women I spent a good deal of my late teens and early twenties on some trendy diet or another and thinking back now, and looking at photos of myself as I was then, I wonder why on earth I thought I ever needed to. Okay, I am a good deal slimmer now even after having had five kids (my figure is better now than it was when I was twenty!) but I have found that has come from simply keeping on the move and eating sensibly.

To be honest though I did try diet pills on one occasion and that was enough for me. I spent two days on the loo and did not sleep for 48 hours – my pupils were dilated as though I had ingested several litres of strong black coffee, I had the shakes and felt generally revolting. I threw the bottle of pills down the loo (where in the course of things they would have ended up anyway).

But I suppose no matter how much I highlight the cons of taking diet pills many of you would still be determined to try them out; if so then take advantage of those sites which review the various diet pills available online today. For instance, one of the most popular brands is Phentermine, but beyond the good stuff you read about this drug what else do you know about it and how do past users rate it?

You might be surprised. Follow that link and see for yourself – publicity speaks one language, people who have actually tried it speak another. At least you can check it out, as well as the alternatives, and make up your own mind.
