Zimbabwe must oust Mugabe and then make him pay

For the first time in a thirty year reign of utter terror President Mugabe of Zimbabwe looks set to look defeat in the face at the countries elections, and it is face of defeat that will hopefully have the last desperate laugh at this murderous despot.

Single handedly this man has taken what was once the strongest economy in Africa and reduced to it to nothing…with inflation of 200,000 percent the currency of the country is as worthless as it could be and to a man whose main weapon was always bribery his tool was not money…but food. He has starved an entire people into submission…but the tide is turning as his own soldiers are now tearing his pictures down from public places. Today, the people of Zimbabwe go to the polls to vote in the most significant elections since the country was granted independence from Britain in 1980.

But this is a maniac who will not go quietly even though he must know his days are numbered; conceding defeat will leave him and his supporters at the mercy of those who will, hopefully, bring him to justice for what he has done to a proud people and a once prosperous nation.

This man used the nation’s main produce, maize, as a way to reward his supporters and withheld it to punish his opposers but it seems that his bargaining powers have run out.  Should he attempt to rig yet anouther election result the promised bloodshed will be of his doing and possibly his undoing. No doubt he will go into exile but it will be an exile where he will be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life.

Zimbabwe, hopefully, will get through these elections and look to rebuild their nation. Mugabe might be looking defeat in the face; Zimbabweans can only look to the future.

Postscript…

The elections are underway and here is something that could only happen in a Mugabe election. In a region of 24,000 registered voters over 8000 votes have been registered from an area that is completely deserted of people. 8000 so-called ‘people’ have voted in an area where no people are said to be living…and of course, those ‘people’ will have voted for Mugabe…

We can only hope that this creton, his Chanel-wearing wife and all their supporters, are brought to justice when this complete farce is over and sanity once again rules in Zimbabwe.

Twins invade Hollywood

Posted under Commercial, Entertainment by Wendy on March 29th, 2008 2:38 pm

There definitely must be something in the water down Hollywood way these days that is causing a baby boom. And not just a boom in babies, but twins !

Look at the recent celebrities to join the mommy club just recently:

* Halle Berry - baby girl

* J-Lo - twins, boy and a girl

* Marcia Cross - twins

* Nicole Ritchie - baby girl

* Christina Aguilera - baby boy

Not to mention those in-waiting…

* Nicole Kidman - recently seen buying maternity clothes even though she is hardly showing at five months along

* Jessica Alba - expecting twins

* Angelina Jolie - expecting twins…

It’s getting crazier by the minute! to anyone visiting Hollywood who does not wish to invite the stork just yet…don’t drink the water!!

British Youth make the cover of Time

Posted under Culture, General/Current by Wendy on March 29th, 2008 2:16 pm

US Time Magazine has published a damning indictment of the youth of Great Britain today. The article claims, correctly, that British youth are violent, drunken and out of control. The front cover of the renowned Time Magazine also depicts a young man in a hoodie with mugshots of others across a Union Jack.The headline reads: “Unhappy, Unloved and Out of Control - An epidemic of violence, crime and drunkenness has made Britain scared of its young.”

It also pours scorn upon the parenting abilities of the British, claiming they do not spend enough time with their children and cannot cope.  The magazine criticises the British class-driven society, the education system and the widespread binge-drinking culture. And so well it should. Every day, every day, the papers in the UK report stories of teenagers killing other teenagers; 12 year old boys knifing 10 year olds; 11 year old girls having babies whose own mothers are just 15 years older than themselves. In many areas up to three generations of families live in council housing and on benefits having never worked a day in their unproductive lives… the only thing they all seem able to produce with little or no effort are children.

Just a few weeks ago a a young woman was beaten to death by two boys, 15 and 16, just because she was dressed as a  Goth. Men protecting their homes and families are stabbed or beaten to death by savage, drunken youths still in their teens. And this is not just a passing phase, these are not isolated incidences. This is every day life in the UK today. Thanks to Nu-Labour, Tony Blair and now Gordon Brown. Victims have no rights, criminals have plenty; parents have no authority, nor do teachers, to control the kids whilst the kids have more rights than they know what to do with. Many parents simply do not care what their kids do, or who they do it to.

All rights and no responsibilities. No obligations. The UK has a welfare state which encourages unproductive human beings to do nothing other than produce other, eventual, unproductive human beings. Children are being dragged up rather than brought up. Children are being born having no idea who their father is because Mum probably has no idea either; multiple children to multiple men… that’s the career choice of many young British females today. It is happening and something must be done to stop it.

The UK already has a generation made up of countless savage and feral youth; no conscience, no feelings and no morals. And the worst generation of parents probably in British history.
