Tina Turner is a great role model for all women

Tina is the first woman to get my Kiss for Life! award and she so deserves it. She is a great role model for any woman to look up to; she has talent, she has always been a working Mum as well as a working Grandmother, she never followed trends but set them for others to follow.

Seeing her last night performing on the Grammys showed just how much she still has ‘it’ after being away from the stage for seven years and being 68 years old. But who’s counting?

Beyonce was rapidly running out of breath towards the end of the duet whilst Tina just got better and better. It was all Beyonce could do to keep up with her!

Anyway Tina, it is great to see you still can thrill your audiences – just how you do it we’ll never know; but only you can do it.

Keep on rockin’ Tina!

If Amy can do it why not you?

It is great to see the singer Amy Winehouse finally on the road to recovery following her well documented problems with drug addiction. Seeing celebrities going through the same things that dog us ordinary folk sheds light on what is, unfortunately, a very common problem.

You too can do the same. You must take that first step though for yourself and choose a drug rehab programme at a location that will serve your best interests and provide the highest level of support and re-education. It is a life changing decision, the most important one you will ever make. Taking this step will not only benefit yourself but your family and friends lives as well. Do it for them, but most importantly, do it for you.

If Amy can do it then so can you.
