A bit of ghost spotting…and something else

This story appeared in the UK’s Daily Mail newspaper today. A teenager took a shot of some of his friends on his mobile phone but captured a somewhat ghostly image as well.

The photograph appears to show the floating ghostly image of a child, which appears to be peeping through between the legs of his friends.

Ok, so we see the uninvited guest.  Spooky indeed. But look at the kids in the pic…does the girl third from the right not look a little bit young to be clutching a bottle of wine?…

I emailed a comment to the publication, which was published in the comments section to the story, but minus the remark about the young girl. Censorship is alive and well in the UK but not parental supervision it seems…

Amy’s Daddy moves in

The father of singer Amy Wonehouse has resorted to desperate last resort measures…he has moved into his daughter’s home to keep a 24 hour constant watch on her. Her distraught father has moved in with the singer to in a bid to keep her off drugs and away from those who are obviously obtaining the drugs for her. Surely these people can be identified and arrested? This girl is getting the stuff from  somewhere!

Let’s just hope that her Dad’s sacrifice is not in vain and that he finally gets to the bottom of just what is happening in Amy’s life.

The grieving for Heath gathers strength…

No-one has seen or heard of Jake Gyllenhaal since his best mate, Heath Ledger, was found dead this week. The two guys were best friends and Jake is even the godfather of Heath’s little girl Matilda. This is all so so sad. Let’s hope that Jake provides a strong support for the little girl as she grows up without her Daddy…we all know he will do just that.

The sales are escaping me…once again

Each Xmas I look around at all the stuff I cannot afford to buy for myself and hope, against hope usually, that a certain someone will buy those nice things for me for Xmas Day. To date I am still waiting for that bottle of YSL’s Paris fragrance despite how many hints I drop throughout the year, as well as that 24 ct gold bangle that will go so nicely with my gold Gucci watch. So I say to myself  wait until the after-xmas sales! And each year I wait and wait because I never get to them. I am also strapped after Xmas because the credit cards have been confiscated. Oh well, there is always next year…

Suffering for fashion…

I have always wanted to be able to wear some lovely earrings like other women but didn’t have pierced ears. Well, I had them done when I was in my teens but they never ‘took’. I have a ‘double ear lobe’ kind of thing, nothing freaky, but it causes problems for the person doing the piercing. When it was done the first time that ear lobe did not heal properly so after 8 weeks I had to remove the studs. Back in December I bit the bullet and had them done again only this time the girl was very experienced and did a good job. I have to admit I took my Mum along with me though, just as I do when I have to go to the dentist. They are almost ready to remove but I’m dreading pushing new pins through the wee holes!
