Would Princess Diana be a veil-wearing muslim wife today?

I think not. And I do not refer to her being the wife of Dodi al Fayed, the son of that pseudo-muslim Mohammed al Fayed. I refer to her marrying the surgeon Hasnat Khan if she had lived, if she and the doctor had not broken off their relationship. HE dumped HER don’t forget. What if he hadn’t dumped her four weeks prior to her running off with Dodi supposedly to make him jealous? What if he hadn’t been so against his name being in the spotlight back then? Well it is now even if his initial intentions back in July 1997 were to stop such a thing. Would Diana be a ‘good Muslim wife’ today otherwise?

I doubt it. She would have tired of Hasnat eventually as was her habit. Like the Queen stated before the wedding she was a ‘non-stayer’, she was too flighty. There is no doubt that she was paranoid, too highly strung and needed proper help very early on, it was a result of her dysfunctional childhood…just look at her brother’s track record in relationships. I think Charles loved her from the start to the end but what man on earth could cope with a girl-bride like that?,
no matter how good she looked. I am afraid we the public decided whether Charles married Diana, not the couple themselves. In my opinion the Queen will outlive Charles anyway, then we will have a King William…a Queen Camilla will never happen. Even though I like her immensely. And it would all be so different now if Diana had only buckled her seat belt that night.

Come to think of it, if Hasnat had never dumped her in the first place and just let the romance run it’s course I suspect she would still be here. And Mr Al Fayed Senior would still be looking for a way into British society.

Getting feedback on your site

You may notice something different about the site and yet familiar at the same time. Well, I have taken down the previous template and replaced it with this one for a while – this is one I used for  a while last year. The reason I have done this is because I received some feedback from visitors regarding the navigation side of things. So I looked into it.

If you care about how your blog comes across the the public reading it you would be wise to heed such comments. I put alot of work and just as much, if not more, thought into what I write each day for the simple reason that I want people to read it. And enjoy it if possible. Now, not everyone is going to say ‘wow!’, and you have to expect that, but the idea is to present your blog site as best you possibly can.

I found that visitors were having a problem with navigating back to the earlier posts. Basically I had no ‘next’ or ‘previous’ at the bottom of each page so in short there was no facility for people to spend a while reading previous posts. I wish I had learned of this a lot earlier because I think it would make a lot of difference to my traffic stats.

Anyway, I have remedied this and posted up this template for now; I’m more than a bit disappointed though (but only with myself) because I really liked that last template I had on. So for now the hunt is on for another ‘new look’ for Cultured Views. Meanwhile though I hope you enjoy that great view of the South Australian coastline.

One lesson learned…pay attention to feedback!

Yet another day in yob-run Britain

No wonder so many people are leaving Britain. The British are leaving because there is no law and order anymore, no justice for victims of crime, too much leniancy and tolerance for criminals on the behalf of the police and the courts. On the same note foreigners are pouring into the country eager to cash in on the easy welfare benefits system, the cheap council housing and the tolerance for other less-social cultures over that of British culture.

This past week a 73 year old pensioner, with a heart condition and diabetes, was arrested and thrown in a cell for 24 hours for shouting at a gang of yobs that were throwing stones and rocks at some ducks in a canal. I reckon the word ‘yob’ is now a well entrenched part of the english vocabulary now, it is used to describe such a large part of the young generation there.

One of the louts complained to the police that the frail old man had ‘assaulted’ him and astonishingly the cop believed him. The old man was arrested and imprisoned without a second thought. Never mind that the obvious sceneario – an old man against a gang of louts – was ridiculous in the extreme, his protestations were ignored. The cops believed the louts over the old man.

It’s weird to say the least. Law abiding citizens make complaints to the police all the time about anti-social behaviour in their streets, outside their homes and even when they are threatened and assaulted. Very rarely do the police act. However, when a young lout such as this little scumbag makes a complain it is acted upon without hesitation.

The tide is certainly in favour of the criminals in the UK now. I wonder just how long it will be before ordinary folk start to take the law into their own hands out of plain frustration. It won’t be long.
