Formula 1, Golf or Tennis…take your pick!

I recently spent a good deal of time purchasing tickets for my two sons to go and see the group Linkin Park in Paris next January; I have never purchased concert tickets online before and I have to admit that it was a much easier ordeal than having to queue up outside ticket agencies; like in the ‘old days’.  And even then you were not guaranteed a ticket by the time you got to the front of the queue.

Booking tickets, to any event really, is a breeze now so I would suggest definitely using the online method via Viagogo in future. Last year we met many people who had done this in order to see the Rugby World Cup in Paris; they were travelling as groups and would have found it difficult to get their tickets any other way.  There are a lot of great sporting events coming up in Europe over the coming months and, if you are a racing enthusiast, then buying your Formula 1 tickets for the European Grand Prix now would be a wise move. You can opt for Barcelona, Monaco, Germany and Hungary, maybe all of them if you are really keen.

Maybe it is Golf Tickets that you are after? The ‘big three’ this year will be the Masters, The Ryder Cup and the British Open tournaments; tickets to these events go fast so don’t waste time making your choice.  Personally I love the tennis and if you do as well then Viagogo are offering tennis tickets to big events such as the Australian Open, The Stella Artois Championships, The French Open and, of course, Wimbledon. I have already been to an Australian Open so I’d love to get to a Wimbledon sometime. Wimbledon is the one event you really must get in early for though.

Actually, if you are after some last minute Xmas presents, tickets to events such as these would be sure to make someone really happy.

Diana and Dodi and his fiancee Kelly Fisher

As the inquest into the deaths of Diana and Dodi drags on the one really relevant person has finally made an appearance yet she is being claimed as a ‘surprise’ witness by the media.

Model Kelly Fisher, if you remember as I do, was engaged to Dodi Al Fayed in early August of 1997. Until he latched onto Diana of course. I well remember Ms Fisher speaking out to the media during early August that year about how Dodi had ditched her in favour of being with Diana. Well, Dodi was only doing what his father was telling him to do… and that was get Diana!.

Ms Fisher is no ‘surprise’ witness at all. She is proof that Dodi Al Fayed dropped everything he was doing once Diana came into view, even dumping his fiancee to attempt to snare the Princess on his ‘daddy’s’ orders.

This inquest is a farce. The simple truth is that Dodi and Diana would be alive today, NOT married, but alive if only Mr Al Fayed Snr had minded his own business and stayed out of his son’s life. He saw Diana as the ultimate prize for not only his son, but for himself. And he lost on both counts.

Kate and Gerry McCann – I think the public have had enough of them

The disappearance case of British child Madeline McCann has now become a pathetic circus show for only the most dedicated of voyeurs. Everyday now we hear from another new ‘witness’ who has new claims to make, all of them telling the public how innocent Kate and Gerry McCann are. I think we have gotten the message. So. Enough!.

It seems the focus is now on proving this couple’s innocence with regards to their daughter’s disappearance. Maybe they did not arrange to have her stolen; maybe they did not kill her and hide her body. But one thing is sure; they ARE guilty of having left her unprotected and unsupervised.  All three of their children in fact. They left the three of them open and vulnerable and eventually some piece of scum took advantage of their carelessness.

The public have lost patience with the McCanns and with the group of ‘friends’ that they had such a great time with that night whilst Madeline and her siblings slept alone and unprotected across the road. We are fed up with all the latest ‘claims’ by witnesses, the secrecy being maintained by the group of drinkers known as the ‘Tapas Nine’, and by the never ending sightings by publicity seeking members of the public who were too stupid, and too self conscious, to take a proper look at the child they assumed was Madeline before running to the media with their claims.

I think the public have heard enough from the McCanns and from their useless party cohorts of that night. None of this has found the child, it appears no-one saw anything that was worth reporting. I am surprised that any of them can even recall what day it was back then.
