Yep, I’m back after a week’s holiday driving around Switzerland and Italy and having loved every moment of it. One thing is I have lots to say about how France compares with other european countries – and some of it ain’t good.

I discovered a few things: Switzerland IS expensive to visit, but well worth every swiss franc/cent/euro/pound you spend. Italy is NOT as expensive as I expected and very well worth a visit…just forget about driving through the cities unless you have a deathwish!. Plus, the Italians actually welcome and LIKE children, not like the cranky anti-child British in the UK.

Yes, the past week has certainly proved food for thought…and fodder for posts. 

But is good to be home…
