A British Magistrate placed a ban on the media publicising further details about this very sad case however it has been revealed that DNA tests have been completed and results have concluded that 13 year old Alfie Patten is NOT the father of baby Maisie. To be honest when I first saw this child – and remember, he is a child – I found it very difficult to believe he could even spell the word ‘sperm’ let alone produce them. And as for Chantelle, the 15 year old mother…hardly the naive and innocent type despite her age.

Which leaves you wondering who on earth is the father of this unfortunate baby?

I knew there was going to be trouble about all this when a series of teenage boys (and they ARE boys) began lining up claiming possible paternity as soon as Maisie was born. The whole thing is not only sad in it’s indictment on a certain section of UK society today but also infuriating that Chantelle’s family almost managed to rake in a lot of money over the publicity surrounding this.

Personally, even if the father is identified, I say take the baby and place her with a couple who have values, morals and a future. She needs to grow up the loved daughter of two parents, not as the subject of a sideshow run by freaks.
